The Ventura Film Festival founder and executive director was privileged to participate, accompanied by many of Hollywood's leading celebrities, in the golden anniversary celebration of West Side Story and Hollywood's footprint/handprint ceremony for Academy Award recipients Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, and Golden Globe honoree Russ Tamblyn at the famous Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This occasion also served as the official BluRay premiere by Fox and MGM of West Side Story, which is commonly viewed by critics and fans as the ultimate musical of all time.
